Episode 404 – Leaving Las Vegas:
Chris and Dave explore fascinating and fun activities that lie just outside of Las Vegas. This adventure includes St. Thomas, an agricultural town that was flooded by Lake Mead that remained submerged for decades before the waters receded and the buildings reappeared. On the north edge of Las Vegas is Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, which holds countless fossils but was nearly paved over by development. South of town, Chris and Dave visit Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area to experience evidence of ancient visitors and a very challenging hike up Black Mountain.
