In our first ever family episode, Dave’s family enjoys a child-friendly hike at Galena Creek Park, with interpretive stops to build an appreciation for the outdoors. Chris and her mother enjoy a senior-friendly walk on the Kit Carson Trail in Carson City where they learn the unique stories behind several buildings throughout town. Next, Chris and her dog Reba hit the Jones Creek Trail for a dog-friendly experience with tips and advice from Troy Herrera. Then, everybody — all the humans anyway — take a ride on the Virginia and Truckee Railroad and enjoy some sightseeing in Virginia City.
