RENO, NV (Oct. 19, 2021) –– PBS Reno is thrilled to resume in-person Kids Club Events, allowing families with young children an opportunity to meet their favorite PBS KIDS characters and enjoy hands-on activities including art, science, and exploration.

PBS Reno will host a Nature Walk with Nature Cat on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Rancho San Rafael Arboretum. While the event is free to members of the PBS Reno Kids Club, families who are not members are invited to sign up for a membership at the event and participate. Families are asked to check-in at 1 p.m. at the arboretum, located at 1595 N. “PBS Reno Kids Club is a wonderful way to connect with your children, to learn, and have fun!” said Gigi Slusher, PBS Reno Membership Representative. “I so enjoy the many questions, observations and happy faces of all of our kids.”

Families are asked to RSVP by Thursday, October 21, by calling or emailing Gigi Slusher: (775) 600-0546 or gslusher@pbsreno.org.

About Nature Cat

Nature Cat, a series for children ages 3 to 7, follows Fred, a house cat who dreams of exploring the great outdoors. Once his family leaves for the day, Fred transform into Nature Cat: backyard explorer extraordinaire! He can’t wait to get outside for a day of nature adventures and bravery. There’s just one problem: he’s still a house cat with no instincts for nature. With the help of his animal friends, Nature Cat goes on action-packed adventures full of nature investigation and humor, all while inspiring children to go outside and experience the great outdoors.
