PBS Reno Hires Development Assistant

Lexie Beck, Development Assistant

RENO, NV (June 21, 2022) — PBS Reno continues to strengthen its talented Development team with the hire of Lexie Beck, who will serve as the station’s Development Assistant. Beck joined PBS Reno in early June. In her new role, Beck will process donation records, conduct financial reconciliation, and assist with station event planning including fundraising drives, membership acquisition, and the PBS Reno Kids Club.

“I am thrilled to have Lexie joining the team as the station’s new Development Assistant,” said Emma Glenn, PBS Reno Vice President of Development. “She will be a great asset to PBS Reno, playing an important role in supporting our Membership team and working to further the station’s mission to Entertain Your Curiosity.”

Beck was born and raised in Las Vegas before moving to Reno. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she strengthened her love for advocacy in the field of mental health, specifically with regard to young people. Beck previously worked at Nevada PEP, where she worked as a Program Facilitator.

Professionally, I am passionate about accessibility, collaboration, and making an impact in the community, and I look forward to infusing this into my work at PBS Reno,” said Beck. “As a native Nevadan, I am delighted to join this team and work with an organization and individuals who are passionate about serving and connecting with the local community.”
