PBS Reno Promotes Le to Lead Creative Designer
RENO, NV (FEB 1, 2021) – PBS Reno has promoted Christina Le to Lead Creative Designer. Le is responsible for designing materials that promote the station, along with digital content for the station’s website and social media platforms. Le also works closely with PBS Reno’s Education team and designs materials for its popular PBS KIDS Reno Writers Contest, an annual event that attracts entries from thousands of local students who have written and illustrated their own stories.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to help design and create new content for the station and expand my knowledge in my new role,” said Le. “Design has always interested me and I’ve seen it as a way to problem solve, but with visual elements. It’s fun to figure out a solution that fits everyone’s needs.”
Le joined PBS Reno in December 2014 as Graphic Designer and graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Graphics Communication. She is thrilled to pair her graphic design skills and background with the trusted standards of public television and PBS Reno’s mission to Entertain Your Curiosity.
“Christina brings great enthusiasm and strong design knowledge to every task on which she works,” said Chris Orr, PBS Reno Director of Art and Digital Marketing. “Christina brings insightful perspectives to creative projects, and this is a valuable asset when the team needs to find engaging design solutions. In her new role, she will be able to help the PBS Reno creative and digital marketing team stay engaged and focused on serving our community and audiences.”
