PBS Reno Vice President of Development Honored During 2020 NCET Technology Awards

RENO, NV (OCT 23, 2020) – PBS Reno Vice President of Development Peter Stanton was presented with NCET’s 2020 Rising Star of the Year in Creative Service during the NCET Technology Awards on October 21, 2020, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The hybrid event was streamed live onYouTube.

The NCET Technology Awards celebrate the northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of the technology community,” said Dave Archer, NCET President and CEO. “We’re very pleased to recognize Peter Stanton as NCET’s 2020 Rising Star of the Year in Creative Services in recognition of work at PBS Reno and within northern Nevada’s technology community, and for his demonstrated leadership and innovation in the creative services.”

Stanton came to PBS Reno in 2018, and has led successful efforts to transform on-air fundraising, drive ratings and revenue increases, and has secured the largest individual gift in the station’s 37-year history.

“I am honored to receive this award and see it as a reflection of the great work our team at PBS Reno does,” said Stanton. “I’m grateful to learn from and lead such a wonderful team. This award is also a reminder that Reno/Tahoe is full of opportunities, and I’m thankful for Kurt and other leaders who have given me the opportunity to grow and take on new challenges.”
