Do you miss teaching? Do you want to continue to be a part of a meaningful way to positively impact children and still enjoy your retirement? PBS Reno is seeking retired teachers who would like to teach PBS Reno Curiosity Classroom workshops for preschool through 4th grade students. You will be able to schedule the workshops to fit your retired lifestyle and get paid for the workshops you teach.

Each 45 to 60-minute workshop integrates a high quality video clip, a read aloud, and a fun hands-on activity.
Lessons are aligned to Nevada Academic Content Standards, Common Core Standards, and Next Generation Science Standards and all materials are supplied.

Curiosity Classroom instruction is based on the mission of the PBS Ready To Learn program; a nationwide effort using on-air, online, and print resources to help parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators prepare children for success in school.

Locally, PBS Reno is bringing these resources to communities in northernNevada and northeastern California.

Individuals interested in being a PBS Reno Curiosity Classroom Facilitator should have previous preschool and/or elementary classroom experience.
