RENO, NV (NOV 14, 2025) – PBS Reno is proud to announce the promotion of Dustin Miller to the position of Assistant Chief Engineer. In this new role, Miller will support the Vice President of Technology in overseeing all engineering operations, ensuring the continued excellence and innovation that define PBS Reno.

“With 13 years of experience in the engineering field and a proven track record of leadership, Miller has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to operational efficiency,” said Bryan Carr, PBS Reno Vice President of Technology. “Since joining PBS Reno in 2022, he has played a pivotal role in maintaining broadcast and building operations as well as IT tech support.”

Miller joined PBS Reno in 2022 as a Building Maintenance Technician and has applied his many years of experience in building maintenance to numerous projects at PBS Reno, while simultaneously expanding his skillset in the television industry. He is instrumental in maintaining broadcast signals for PBS Reno’s three broadcast channels, along with maintaining vehicles and equipment for PBS Reno.

“If someone would have told me years ago that I would be working at a TV station in the engineering department, I would have laughed and said, “Yeah, right!” said Miller. “I just wasn’t aware this opportunity could even be on my radar; it’s interesting how things change and different doors open. I am very thankful for the opportunity I was given and for the PBS Reno team who inspires me to become a better person. The family-like atmosphere at PBS Reno is quite amazing. I will continue to grow in broadcasting and provide a professional service for our community.”
