RENO, NV (MAY 30, 2025) — PBS Reno is pleased to promote Karley Pardue to the role of Executive Assistant and Board Liaison.

As PBS Reno Executive Assistant and Board Liaison, Pardue will assist Kurt Mische, President and CEO of PBS Reno, and interact with the PBS Reno Board of Trustees and community partners who work with PBS Reno daily to meet the needs of the public media station, its audience, and its donors.

“I am excited and honored to serve as PBS Reno’s new Executive Assistant and Board Liaison,” said Pardue. “I look forward to working with and learning from Kurt Mische and the Board of Trustees. It means so much to me that PBS Reno fosters personal opportunities for growth and curiosity and that I can continue my support of such an amazing team.”

Prior to joining PBS Reno in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant, a role that allowed her to greet station visitors, assist the station’s administrative team, and complete numerous tasks behind-the-scenes – Pardue completed five years of teaching experience from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she taught multiple sections of English composition as a Letter of Appointment Faculty. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University in 2020.

“We are fortunate to have an experienced and dedicated professional like Karley moving into this important position at PBS Reno, where she will be interacting with our board members, donors and staff,” said Mische.
