RENO, NV (SEP 30, 2025) – PBS Reno is pleased to promote Lynn Lazaro to the role of Content Creator. Lazaro started with PBS Reno in March 2024 as a Digital Marketing Assistant, in which Lazaro was responsible for PBS Reno’s presence on social media platforms and capturing numerous station engagements through videography and imagery.

“After engaging with our community on social media for more than a year and a half, I’m excited to bring my content creation skills to our television audiences,” said Lazaro. “Seeing all the love for PBS Reno on social media has shown me how important our work is to the community, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to further our mission as a Content Creator. I look forward to continuing my career here at PBS Reno.”

Lazaro earned their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Reynolds School of Journalism at University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to PBS Reno, Lazaro served as a Digital Content Producer for KTVN 2 News Nevada, the CBS affiliate based in Reno, NV. Additionally, they bring experience in copywriting, podcast production, and reporting from The Reno News & Review, the Renoites Podcast, and the Estipona Group.

As a Content Creator, Lazaro will be responsible for editing program promotions, programming alerts, and a wide variety of interstitial materials that fill the daily PBS Reno schedule. Lazaro joins a team of award-earning Content Creators who collaborate to create Wild Nevada, ARTEFFECTS, PBS Reno STEM Works, and special promotions surrounding the annual PBS Reno Writers Contest in the Spring, Be My Neighbor Day each July, and the annual Spotlight Awards & Auction fundraising gala each September.

“PBS Reno has a history of growing talent from within, and Lynn is a perfect example,” said Dave Santina, PBS Reno Director of Local Content. “This position change will give Lynn new creative opportunities while building on existing skills. We’re looking forward to working with Lynn in this new capacity.”
