PBS Reno Vice President of Development Emma Glenn Receives Twenty Under 40 Award
RENO, NV (JAN 28, 2026) – Emma Glenn, PBS Reno Vice President of Development, has received a Twenty under 40 Award from Reno Tahoe Young Professional Network.
Glenn received the acknowledgement during the annual Twenty Under 40 Awards Ceremony at the National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno on Friday, January 23, 2026. During the gala, Reno Tahoe Young Professional Network celebrated 40 finalists who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and a profound impact on the community, before revealing the top 20 winners for this year’s class, which includes Glenn and 19 other individuals.
“I’m honored to be named as one of the winners of the Twenty Under 40 awards by Reno Tahoe YPN,” said Glenn. “All of the finalists are so deserving of this recognition, and especially during times of uncertainty, it serves as a reminder of how fortunate we are to live and work in a community full of helpers, collaborators, and leaders who care deeply about our region. I’m grateful to be part of a community that believes in showing up for one another and investing in our collective future.”
Since joining PBS Reno in 2018, Glenn has played a key role in growing the station’s operating budget, securing more than $57 million in philanthropic support. She oversees major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, membership, and signature fundraising events including the Spotlight Awards & Auction and the Heritage Wine Auction. Glenn also supports PBS Reno’s educational outreach, including the Curiosity Classroom workshop initiative which annually serves more than 128,000 students in nine schools in northern and central Nevada and South Lake Tahoe, California.
“We are very proud of Emma and this recognition that she so richly deserves,” said Kurt Mische, PBS Reno President & CEO. “She is a leader in our company and a leader in our community and this leadership is demonstrated daily.”
The Twenty Under 40 Awards program has been a beacon of recognition for exceptional leaders under the age of 40 since its inception in 2007. Orchestrated by the Reno Tahoe Young Professional Network, this initiative celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of young professionals who are making a positive impact on the Reno-Tahoe community. Every year, a select group of 20 dynamic and accomplished individuals are carefully chosen from the nominations received, and their remarkable accomplishments are acknowledged, setting them on a path to inspire even greater positive change. The judging process ensures a fair and thorough evaluation of every nominee. The selection committee is composed of past Reno-Tahoe YPN Board members, Alumni of the Twenty Under 40 Awards, and respected community leaders who bring objectivity and a deep commitment to the integrity of the program. The judges are kept completely anonymous. Each nomination is carefully reviewed and anonymized to protect the identity of nominees. The committee utilizes a comprehensive scoring rubric to assess and rank all submissions based on professional success, community leadership, and volunteer work. Submissions are solely based on the materials that the nominator and nominee provided to the committee. The collective scoring determines the top 20 and top 40 selections.
“The 2025 Twenty Under 40 honorees are shaping the future of our region in powerful ways,” said Carissa Bradley, President of the Board of Directors for Reno Tahoe Young Professional Network. “Through leadership, creativity, and a strong sense of civic responsibility, they are driving positive change across industries and communities. We are excited to celebrate their achievements and the momentum they are building for the next generation of leadership.”
