Estate Planning Series

A free 90-minute, eight-week series that explains all aspects of estate planning. Classes run consecutive Wednesdays at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm from September 16 through November 4 and is co-hosted by the Community Foundation of Western Nevada and PBS Reno. This fall, we will be available virtually via Zoom for the first time due to the pandemic and after 10 years of in-person classes. In-person classes plan to resume at the Sierra View Library in the Reno Town mall come spring. Stay tuned for details on that early next year.

The series includes in-depth information on estate planning, all aspects of wills and trusts, duties of fiduciaries, executors, and trustees, health care directives, Medicaid and health insurance, estate taxes, digital assets, and more. Classes are taught by volunteer expert estate attorneys and trust officers within our community.
