
Family Estate Planning Series
Watch sessions by volunteer expert estate attorneys and trust officers within our community.
A free 90-minute, seven-week series that explains all aspects of estate planning. Classes run consecutive Wednesdays at 10:30 AM to noon or 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM from September 7 through October 19, 2022, and is co-hosted by the Community Foundation of Western Nevada and PBS Reno. Classes will be available in-person at a new location, Spanish Springs Library (at Lazy 5 Regional Park), 7100 Pyramid Way, Sparks, NV.
The series includes in-depth information on estate planning, all aspects of wills and trusts, duties of fiduciaries, executors, and trustees, health care directives, Medicaid and health insurance, estate taxes, digital assets, and more. Classes are taught by volunteer expert estate attorneys and trust officers within our community.
Our non-profit partners help sponsor this to keep it free and include the Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows, Children’s Cabinet, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, KUNR/KNCJ Radio, Nevada Humane Society, Nevada Land Trust, Renown Health Foundation, SPCA of Northern Nevada, TMCC Foundation, United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, Girls Scouts of the Sierra Nevada, Northern Nevada HOPES, Tahoe-Pyramid Trail and Washoe County Library System.
