PBS Reno Hires Broadcast Content Operator

RENO, NV (NOVEMBER 15, 2024)PBS Reno has hired Kayla Montano for the role of Broadcast Content Operator. Montano most recently served as Production Assistant and Audio Operator for KTVN 2 News Nevada, the CBS affiliate based in Reno, NV.

Montano joins the team of PBS Reno Broadcast Content Operators who maintain the quality of programming and additional broadcast materials that reflect PBS Reno standards. PBS Reno Broadcast Content Operators also collaborate with programmers at local and national levels to ensure seamless broadcast signals on PBS Reno’s three channels: PBS Reno on 5.1, Reno Create on 5.2, and PBS KIDS on 5.3.

“I couldn’t be happier to be joining the PBS Reno team,” said Montano. “I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge of public media and the educational services PBS Reno provides to our community all while furthering my career. Everyone has been warm and wonderful in welcoming me into my full-time position.”
