PBS Reno President & CEO Kurt Mische
Reelected to 2025 CPT Board

RENO, NV (OCT 4, 2024)PBS Reno President and CEO Kurt Mische has been reelected to another term as Vice Chair of the California Public Television Board.

California Public Television (CPT) and Californians for Public Broadcasting (CfPB) held their annual meeting on September 3 and reelected the following officers for 2025:

  • Chair, Andy Russell (PBS SoCal/KCET)
  • Vice Chair, Kurt Mische (PBS Reno)
  • Secretary, Darren LaShelle (Northern California Public Media)
  • Treasurer, David Lowe (KVIE Sacramento)
     

“Since 2012 I have been privileged to serve as a CPT/CfPB board member in various capacities,” said Mische. “I am honored to continue as our group’s vice-chair and help advance the cause of our wonderful service for this region.”

About CPT

California Public Television (CPT) was formed in the early 1980s to help the state’s public television stations collaborate with respect to their broadcasting services. CPT shares programming and provides statewide distribution of programs and outreach materials of interest to the state’s residents. In cooperation with the Attorney General’s office, CPT has produced and distributed Responsible Adults & Safe Teens, an earthquake preparedness campaign, along with a series on mental health.
