PBS Reno Welcomes
Megan Lowe and Kaya Stanley to Board of Trustees
RENO, NV (OCT 11, 2024) — PBS Reno is pleased to welcome Megan Lowe and Kaya Stanley to the PBS Reno Board of Trustees.
“We are honored to have these two outstanding professionals join our forward-looking Board of Trustees,” said Kurt Mische, PBS Reno President & CEO. “Throughout our 41 years of service, PBS Reno has been fortunate to have the wise guidance and counsel of our region’s leaders who lend their expertise to our board.”
Lowe is a realtor with Chase International in Reno, a role she has held for 14 years. She recently served as a member of COBAA (University of Nevada, Reno College of Business Alumni Association) Board of Directors. Born and raised in the real estate business, Lowe assists home buyers and sellers throughout northern Nevada and deploys a blend of hands-on experience with an ambitious desire to assist and please her clients.
"I’m incredibly honored to join the PBS Reno Board of Trustees,” said Lowe. “As my kids have grown, PBS has been a part of it; from PBS KIDS shows to their local events and seeing the educational pieces from PBS Reno come home from school. It has fueled their curiosity and passion for learning. Being able to give back to an organization that has shaped so many lives, including my own kids, is a meaningful opportunity. I look forward to helping continue its mission to educate, inspire, and enrich our community.”
Stanley is the CEO/Chairman of CRMBC (California Restaurant Mutual Benefit Corp), California’s largest restaurant workers comp self-insured group. With deep roots in the restaurant and real estate industries, Stanley wears multiple hats as a licensed attorney, president of TEDxReno, founder of Feed Our Heroes, author, speaker, and sought-after professional coach.
“PBS Reno’s dedication to fostering curiosity and a passion for learning in children through its educational programs is what inspired me to join the Board of Trustees,” said Stanley. “I look forward to supporting their mission and helping to further this impactful work.”
PBS Reno Board of Trustees meetings are held quarterly at PBS Reno (1670 N. Virginia Street in Reno) and are open to the public. For more information, call (775) 600-0555 or visit pbsreno.org/about/board-of-trustees
