PBS Reno Promotes Dustin Miller to
Broadcast Engineering Technician

Dustin Miller, Broadcast Engineering Technician of PBS Reno

RENO, NV (February 2, 2024)PBS Reno has promoted Dustin Miller to the role of Broadcast Engineering Technician. Since joining PBS Reno in 2022 as a Building Maintenance Technician, Miller has applied his many years of experience in building maintenance to numerous projects at PBS Reno, while simultaneously expanding his skillset in the television industry.

“I joined a great team and family here at PBS Reno who gave me an opportunity to grow,” Miller said. “I had no idea what working at a TV station entailed but I had the skills to keep the building safe, presentable, and in working condition which got me in the door. What I didn’t know was that I had a team ready to push me into a world of broadcasting. Bryan Carr and the Engineering department quickly took me under their wing teaching me things I never thought I would be a part of. I look forward to continuing my knowledge of broadcast engineering and many years of service to PBS Reno.”

Over the past 18 months, PBS Reno has experienced several successful improvement projects including but not limited to interior redesign, office equipment upgrades, carpet replacement, and studio equipment maintenance.

“Dustin is there ready and willing to jump into any fire,” said Bryan Carr, PBS Reno Vice President of Technology. “He has proven to be a key asset in the Engineering department.”
