RENO, NV (APR 11, 2025) — PBS Reno is pleased to expand its Content team by hiring two new content creators: Dillon Beckwith and Joshua Fuss, who joined PBS Reno on April 2, 2025.

Beckwith brings ten years of experience in video production to PBS Reno. He most recently served as a director and associate producer with Building Block Entertainment Inc., a Los Angeles-based multimedia company that specializes in quality school assembly programs. There, Beckwith developed content for Shows That Teach including the video series Start With Heart and This is How We Roll. Beckwith also filmed and edited content for BestOnlineCabinets.com while working as a digital producer in San Gabriel, California. He is also the owner of Dillon Beckwith Media, which has captured photography and video assets for the band Blondie. He is focused on environmental conservation and topics involving the U.S. Forest Service, making him a strong fit for providing videography for the award-earning PBS Reno program Wild Nevada.

“The opportunity to live and work in such a dynamic and welcoming community such as PBS Reno and the City of Reno is an absolute thrill and provides me with an immense amount of pride,” said Beckwith. “I’m excited for the journey ahead.”

Fuss brings 20 years of videography, cinematography, and photography experience to PBS Reno. He spent more than a decade in Los Angeles where he worked on several documentaries and television shows, and collaborated with directors and other professionals to innovate lighting techniques and elevate storytelling through strong visuals. Fuss brought his strengths in visual storytelling to the West Coast Customs television show as director of photography, and elevated the brand through dynamic cinematography, lighting, and composition for more than six years. Fuss worked as an independent contractor in Los Angeles and frequently executed modern techniques including timelapse photography and aerial cinematography. As a 5th generation Nevadan, Fuss is excited to return home and film content for PBS Reno.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this PBS Reno team full of collaborative, creative and passionate people,” said Fuss. “As a cinematographer, I personally love telling stories about the nuance and narratives pertaining to the arts, culture, diversity, environment, and natural world of the state of Nevada that envelops the mission here. I couldn't be more excited for this new challenge and opportunity.”

In their new roles, Beckwith and Fuss will be responsible for filming and producing content for several award-earning PBS Reno productions including Wild Nevada, PBS Reno STEM Works, and the Spotlight Awards & Auction. They will also edit numerous videos that serve the needs of PBS Reno, its audience, and its many underwriters and supporters in the community.

“I’m looking forward to working with both Josh and Dillon, who are a tremendous addition to the PBS Reno content team,” said Dave Santina, PBS Reno Director of Local Content. “Their skills are a wonderful complement to those we already have in-house and they bring us back to full strength as we take on the wide variety of work ahead of us.”
