PBS Reno Launches Fall 2025 Membership Drive
PBS Reno Membership Drives are quarterly and designed to retain and grow the number of viewers who financially contribute to PBS Reno
RENO, NV (AUG 8, 2025) – Today PBS Reno launched its Fall 2025 Membership Drive featuring a variety of music specials, dramas, and travel programs on television; tickets to upcoming concerts, and much more. The goal of this membership drive is to raise $40,000 for PBS Reno and increase the number of PBS Reno members who contribute $10 or more per month as a monthly sustainer; or, contribute a larger gift once or twice per year.
The deadline to meet this $40,000 goal is Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Each dollar contributed will add up and will help chip away at the $1.3 million loss for PBS Reno that resulted from the Rescissions Act of 2025 that gutted federal funding for more than 1,500 public television and radio stations.
“Our PBS Reno Membership Drive is underway and your support means more than ever,” said Emma Glenn, PBS Reno Vice President of Development. “With the loss of our federal funding, PBS Reno will now be fully funded by our community—and that means you. Every new and renewing gift helps ensure we can continue delivering the trusted programs, educational resources, and local stories that matter to northern Nevada. Together, we can keep public media strong—right here at home.”
When viewers make a financial contribution starting at $120 to PBS Reno, they may choose from one of the following ticket offers to upcoming concerts:
- Rumours of Fleetwood Mac | October 7, 2025 | Grand Sierra Resort
- YES | November 16, 2025 | Grand Sierra Resort
- The Temptations and The Four Tops | November 22, 2025 | Grand Sierra Resort
- Benise | April 4, 2026 | Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts
PBS Reno viewers are also encouraged to check the PBS Reno schedule online to enjoy a variety of music specials from Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash, The Highwaymen, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, and Neil Diamond plus a selection of travel programs and documentaries from Rick Steves, Ken Burns, and more.
