RENO, NV (JUN 12, 2025) — PBS Reno is pleased to have hired Leo Martinez Davis for the role of Senior Designer. Davis joined the PBS Reno team on June 2, 2025.

Martinez Davis brings more than ten years of experience in visual design, digital marketing, and public relations. Most recently, he served as Visual Communications Manager at edX and 2U, where he led creative campaigns and branding initiatives for top universities including NYU, Northwestern, Simmons, and Baylor. He has also held key roles at Outspoken Media in Troy, New York and MaxScholar in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he created user experience and user interface (UX/UI) designs for game experiences and web assets. He also created SEO-driven content and social media strategies.

“Public television was once my window to the world, and now I am proud to help open that window for others,” said Martinez Davis. “Growing up in Venezuela, I experienced how restricted and biased media can be, which has shaped my deep appreciation for publicly funded broadcasting. I’m excited to join the welcoming team at PBS Reno and bring my background in multimedia production and visual storytelling to a mission that prioritizes people over profit. I look forward to contributing to projects that uplift voices, celebrate community, and build bridges rather than barriers.”

In his new role as Senior Designer, Martinez Davis will be responsible for developing storytelling through innovative print and digital designs which shape PBS Reno’s visual identity to ensure branding is delivered consistently across all media platforms. He will also maintain and update PBS Reno's website ensuring a seamless user experience, while remaining visually appealing and aligning with brand guidelines.

“Leo’s passion lies in using design and innovation to tell compelling stories and empower teams across organizations,” said Yunis Cho, PBS Reno Director of Marketing. “He’s very excited to bring that creativity and collaborative spirit to PBS Reno’s mission to Entertain Your Curiosity.”
