This trip takes Chris and Dave north from Elko to Wild Horse State Recreation Area, featuring a scenic landscape and some excellent camping, year-round fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. From Wild Horse, they make the epic drive through some of the most beautiful country anyone could hope to see along the 50 mile dirt road path to Jarbidge. Two longtime residents of the town take our hosts for a stroll through their memories of life growing up in such an isolated place. The trip concludes a hike with a Forest Service trail builder to enjoy a beautiful meadow and a striking view of Jarbidge Canyon and the Jarbidge Wilderness.
