It is a trip through dark sky territory with hosts Chris Orr and Dave Santina. They launch from Gerlach after learning a bit about the Friends of Black Rock. After a brief stop at the art oasis known as Planet X, they move west toward the Nevada/California border and an attempt to scale Divine Peak, which is hampered by a flat tire. On Day 2, the team explores the Massacre Rim area and climbs the rim itself to achieve a spectacular view. That night, they experience the dark skies in person and experiment with astrophotography.
