RENO, NV (May 30, 2024)PBS Reno is pleased to announce eight of its local productions from the past year have received Telly Awards. The news comes nearly a month after the local public television station received eight Communicator Awards, bringing the number of awards earned in 2024 to 16.

“Earning these Tellys is a testament to the value of quality local content,” said Dave Santina, PBS Reno Director of Local Content. “It's gratifying for our content team and I hope the many generous supporters who made it possible are pleased with this recognition.”

The accolades include:

2024 Silver Telly Awards

2024 Bronze Telly Awards

“This is a wonderful achievement by this station,” said Megan Myers, PBS Reno Vice President of Content. “This is the most Tellys we have ever earned at one time and more than we have earned combined in the last three years. This is a testament to the work each and every one of our staff puts into our work and the passion that we have for our jobs. It is also representative of a community that supports and funds our local programs, and allows our creators to be creative and visionaries. While we do not produce this work for awards or accolades, it is wonderful to be honored by leaders and peers in the industry.”
